The Stirling Hotel is a luxury-branded, full-service hotel, providing 307 rooms and suites, all with a view of either Bluff or Cove Mountain.
The Highlander Lodges include 200 mountain-style vacation townhomes and 40 luxury four-bedroom vacation residences. These units represent the marketplace’s first branded inventory of vacation rentals marketed along with the hotel rooms.
The Boardwalk offers a half-mile, beautifully landscaped stroll around a 5-acre, man-made lake framed by unique upscale dining, shopping and entertainment experiences. It will include five full-service restaurants and 60,000 square feet of curated, “mountain vacation lifestyle” retail offerings.
The National Meeting/Event Center inside The Stirling Hotel provides 40,000 square feet of indoor meeting space as well as expansive outdoor venues for weddings, retreats, reunions and similar events.
The Blue Lagoon offers guests of The BLUE MIST™ an aquatic experience like no other in the region, with a serpentine set of infinity pools descending to a man-made beach and the first mountaintop Crystal Lagoon™ in the world.
The Sanctuary is a 20,000-square-foot luxury health spa and wellness center that offers a unique outdoor Nordic experience intermixed with subterranean mineral pools and in-ground saunas.
The BLUE MIST™ Arrival Experience welcomes visitors on an aerial gondola with views of the surrounding mountains as they are being delivered from the base welcome station to The Boardwalk retail village.
No new taxes or City bonds required to launch the project. Tax revenue generators will be in place before reimbursement and/or tax abatement.
On-site amenities include The Boardwalk, Crystal Lake, spa, gondola, outdoor adventure park, brewery, upscale dining, unmatched views, new retail and more. This is a complex like no other in the region.
Boosting and growing the local economy. We project $500 million in capital investment (using local labor) over a two-year period and with a commitment to buying local whenever possible. This will be ongoing after construction.
An ongoing and growing new revenue stream for the City. Conservative projections show $48.9 million in tax collection over the first 10 years, with a recurring tax revenue stream of $5.7 million.
New workforce housing can be built as part of the deal: 55 acres, 800 units, over 1,000 beds for workers in Sevier County. Requires City assistance with the widening of Waldens Creek Road.
